Guest Speakers
Michael Myers
Renowned expert in alpine plants, particularly known for his expertise in Snowdrops, dwarf bulbs and woodland plants.

Tony Goode
An enthusiastic amateur gardener, lived and gardened in Norwich for forty years before relocating to Wales in 2019 and has held a National Collection of species crocus for twenty years. Tony joined the Alpine Garden Society in 1989 and is involved in various society activities.

Nigel Hopes
After training and working at Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses, Nigel Hopes became Head Gardener for John Massey in his Private Garden at Ashwood Nurseries.

Arley Arboretum a Magical Place to Explore
Arley Arboretum is situated on the banks of the magnificent River Severn at Upper Arley, within the
stunning scenery of the Arley Estate, near the historic market town of Bewdley.
One of the oldest Arboretums in Britain and home to over 300 species of trees from around the world,
with restored Italian Gardens being the jewel of the crown, and features Britain’s longest Laburnum
arch, measuring 65 metres.
