Let’s Celebrate Winter

This year we have widened the theme of our Winter Lecture Day in order to enjoy a broader celebration of winter. Lectures and Nurseries will feature a range of wonderful plants to brighten the darkest days. Of course there will still be a large selection of popular and more specialist snowdrops to tempt you to add to your collection.

The AGS “Not Just Snowdrops” Day 2026 will take place on Saturday 7th February at Ford Hall, Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre
Newport, Shropshire, TF10 9AT

AGS members may each bring a guest at member’s rate. 

All attendees will receive a goodie bag containing two free books worth £40

TICKETS – AGS members £38, non-members £48

Tickets includes entry to three lectures, plant sales from specialist nurseries selling an incredible range of snowdrop varieties and many other plants (not just snowdrops), AGS Bookstall, tea, coffee and two-course hot lunch. AGS members can bring a guest at reduced AGS member rates (please book two tickets at £38 each). Please let us know of any dietary requirements in advance.
