On a grey day, the Mid-Anglia visit to the Essex garden of Ailsa and Mike Wildig, proved to be much enjoyed by those who braved the cold and damp weather. The garden is set in a large area of open woodland with naturalist planting and more formal beds/pots close to the house. We enjoyed a spectacle of drifts of Eranthis hyemalis and Galanthus ‘Atkinsii’ interspersed with some more choice aconites and snowdrops.

Photographs from our visit to Pam Turtle’s Bluebell wood and her garden with tree peonies and a beautiful Judas Tree.

Photographs from our visit to Colin and Ruth’s garden at the end of May. So much to see irises, peonies, roses and much more.
